October 19, 2014. Yahoo! Asia names Sityodtong USA as one of the top Muay Thai camps in the world today! "I am very humbled by this. Very proud and honored to be included in this list. Just to be allowed to carry the name of Sityodtong was enough for me. Kru Yodtong and all the trainers, fighters and people around that camp taught me about character as a human being. I am proud and have worked hard to continue to wave the flag that 'fly's from above.' Sityodtong Forever." - Kru Walter Michalowski
The dreary cold weather on Saturday, Dec. 7th did not damper student's of Sityodtong spirits in anticipation of fighter, Jules Wallace, the Whitemare, Pride of Scotland against opponent, Keith Beard, at the Hollywood Park Casino. It was tough selling tickets to a fight night with recent back to back fights and Christmas just 2 1/2 weeks away. Even so, SYT Warrior Pride still brought the support and with the opponent being from the San Diego area Jules had the hometown advantage. Team Sityodtong LA fighter, Jules Wallace, and his corner led by Head Coach, Kru Walter Michalowski along with Pro Fighter Glen "Megatron" Spencer, undefeated MMA Fighter, Eddie Estrada and newest cornerman, Dante Hall, brought home the Victory. From the start of the fight Jules clearly dominated. His opponent barely laid a glove on him and had no defense against Jules's slamming knees or kicks. By the third and final round Jules was barely breaking a sweat and was told to "turn it up" by his coach. Jules opened up the round with a hammering superman punch and left kick to the body. Through it all, the Whitemare, Pride of Scotland ended with a strong unanimous win. Kru's Comments:Jules fought at lower weight for this bout. I tell my fighters if they bust their @$$ and fight at a lower weight, they will end up fighting smaller weaker guys and that's exactly what happened.
The After Thanksgiving Sityodtong Trainathon was a huge success and despite the bad weather, Sityodtong LA's 7,500 square foot facility was filled to capacity. The unexpected rain did not damperspirits, instead the 5K run/race turned into an action packed two hour Muay Thai Seminar led by head coach, Kru Walter Michalowski and assisted by undefeated pro fighter, Josh Aragon. Training started with over 75 enthusiastic participants who included fighters, students, guest and first-timers. The 3rd hour of training was taught by Champion Conditioning Coach, Big Mike Quintero. The workout was sports fitness oriented and ended with a competitive, yet fun, tug-o-war. The final hour of the Sityodtong Trainathon finished in true MMA fashion with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. BJJ Specialty Coach and Black Belt, Fernando Castillo took the class through various escapes and submission drills. Coach June Michalowski, along with BJJ Assistant Coach, Aaron Aragon and Yoga Instructor, Isabella Manzanero rounded out the kid's program at Kid Power Martial Arts.A total of 36 participants’ ages four to for forty-six completed all four hours of training earning bragging rights, a certificate of achievement and a medal of completion. Special thanks to The BerryBeet Down, Vita Coco, Total Nutrition (formerly Max Muscle) and Merengue Cafe & Bakery for providing free refreshments and great tasting energy snacks.

Pasadena, CA. March 8, 2013. A memorial ceremony for Grandmaster Dr. Yodtong Senanan (Kru Yodtong) was held on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 7.30PM at Sityodtong LA in Pasadena. The memorial ceremony was attended by many students, fighters and coaches of Sityodtong LA as well as the local Muay Thai community in greater L.A. area. Pomona, CA. March 2, 2013. Sityodtong LA's very own, Josh Aragon, made a successful pro debut by defeating Shawn Yacoubian by unanimous decision, 30-27. Josh pressed the action and showed a well rounded arsenal: elbows, knees, kicks and punches. Glen "Megatron" Spencer wins by way of KO in round 2 against Brett Martin. In round 2, Glen was able to send Brett to the canvas after several knees to the mid section from the clinch. After answering the referee’s count Brett was again sent to the canvas for good after a combination followed by a flying knee from Glen connected. The referee stopped the bout and gave Glen the 2nd round TKO win. Congratulations, Team Sityodtong LA!!!
